E-911 Communications
Cherokee County E-911 Communications is a state of the art facility. We employ the latest technology and cutting edge life – safety practices designed to provide citizens and visitors of Cherokee County with the care and protection you deserve. Cherokee County E-911 received its first 911 call February 25, 2000. By having all Emergency 911 calls routing to a single location, it eliminated the chance of a 911 call being lost and greatly reduced the time to dispatch the appropriate agency and response time to the emergency location. In 2021, a total of 73,688 calls for service was requested through Cherokee County E-911 Communications Center.

Sheriff's Office
The Mission of the Cherokee County Office of the Sheriff is to preserve life, encourage voluntary compliance with the laws of this state, prevent crimes, hold offenders accountable and promote community well being. We will continue to perform these duties by providing resourceful patrols, quality investigations, distinctive correctional and emergency services, community oriented programs and victim advocate support using innovative solutions in order to build partnerships within the community and the citizens we serve.
