Solid Waste Department

The Cherokee County Solid Waste Department offers a solid waste landfill, a recycling facility, and convenience centers to dispose of the following items:

The Cherokee County Landfill is located at 10160 US 19 Hwy, Marble, N.C. 
PLEASE NOTE: Some map systems do not recognize the location address. If travelling from Murphy, the landfill is located on the right past mile marker 30. If traveling from Andrews, the landfill is located on the left past mile marker 31. 

The landfill is open from 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM Monday through Friday, and 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays.
