Public Hearing on 2020 Revaluation-November 4, 2019


The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Boardroom of the Cherokee County Courthouse. The purpose of the public hearing will be to seek comments on the 2020 Schedule of Values, Standards & Rules for Revaluation of Real Property and the 2020 Present Use Schedule of Values, Standards & Rules; which were presented to the Board of Commissioners on Monday, October 7, 2019. Copies of both are available for public viewing at the office of the Cherokee County Tax Assessor, located at 75 Peachtree Street, Murphy, NC.

Written comments shall be accepted at the office of the Clerk to the Board through 5:00 p.m. on the date of the public hearing. Please send written comments to the following:
