Commissioners Special Called Meeting

The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners will hold a brief Special Called Meeting just prior to their DSS Board meeting on August 24th. Agenda items include: 1. Tri-County Community College Board of Trustees Appointment 2. Consideration of a Geographical Name Proposal-Submitted to the U.S. Board on Geographic Names by a Cherokee County resident concerning naming a 2,100 foot summit in Cherokee County, 6.5 miles west-southwest of Murphy. The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM and be held at the DSS building, located at 4800 W US Highway 64 in ?Murphy. The DSS board meeting will convene immediately following the Special Called Meeting.
